I'm really glad you found your way here.
I help people discover, preserve, and share the stories that matter most. Some of those stories belong to the remarkable people I've met along the way. Others are my own. I think of myself less as a storyteller and more as a story keeper; someone who believes every life holds something worth noticing, and every story deserves to be carried with care. Whether it's through photography, film, or the written word, my heart has always been the same: helping meaningful stories find the medium they were meant for.

Behind every emergency call is a neighbour willing to answer it.
This mini documentary shares the stories of everyday people who serve their communities through Big Lakes County Fire Services. Through honest conversations and personal experiences, this film offers a glimpse into the realities of volunteer firefighting, the unique challenges of protecting rural communities, and the sense of purpose and belonging that keeps these volunteers coming back.
But more than anything, it's a story about ordinary people choosing to make a difference.

Acknowledging This Land
Hudson House Creative Co. is located in Treaty 8 territory, on the traditional lands of the Nehiyawak (Cree), Dene Tha’, Dane-zaa (Beaver), and Denesųłiné (Chipewyan) peoples, and within the homelands of the Métis people.
I acknowledge the Nations, families, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and communities who have cared for these lands and waters since time immemorial, and those who continue to do so today.
The stories I am invited to tell through Hudson House do not exist in isolation from the places where they unfold. They are shaped by the land, the people, the histories, and the communities that make northern Alberta what it is.
For me, acknowledging this land is not simply about naming where Hudson House is located. It is about remembering whose homelands these are, recognizing the histories that have shaped them, and considering what it means to live, work, create, and tell stories here.
I am grateful to live and create in the Peace Region, and I recognize that reconciliation is not a statement, it is an ongoing relationship, a commitment to learning, and a responsibility to act.
These are Treaty lands. We are all treaty people.
